Monetary Theory At University Of Ghana
The essence of this course is to study the relationship between money supply and other important
economic variables such as aggregate price level, economic output, interest rates and exchange
rates. Specific topics include: The Bank of Ghana: structure and functions, Demand for Money,
Money Supply, Quantity Theory of Money, Conduct of Monetary Policy, Tools of Monetary
Policy, Monetary and Fiscal Policy, Money and Economic Activity, Money, Inflation and Interest
Rates, and the International Financial System.
