Introduction to Business Finance At University Of Ghana
In this introductory finance course, students are exposed to the role of the financial manager. They
study financial analysis including working capital management as a way of linking finance to
accounting. They learn about the basic tools that the financial manager uses in detecting and
eliminating potential corporate problems. They also learn about financial intermediaries. Topics
will include The Finance Function; The Financial Environment; Financial Analysis and Planning;
Working Capital Management and sources of Funds.
